RSK Hop 4.3.0 Is Here
We are excited to unveil the latest version of the RSKj Hop client, now available in the RSKj GitHub repository. This update brings a host of crucial security improvements, including the activation of peer scoring and virtual gas features by default, and the adoption of the most recent stable versions of various libraries used by the client node, among other things.
Although this upgrade is not mandatory, we highly recommend that users upgrade their nodes to the latest version.
What changes are included in RSK Hop 4.3.0?
A non-comprehensive list of changes included in this version is:
- Enabled transaction rate limiting and peer scoring features by default in #1960.
- Upgraded dependencies to their latest stable versions in #1878, #1879, and #1883.
- Added correlation id in executing logs in #1906.
- Added constraints to payload JSON-RPC requests in #1914.
- Performance enhancements in #1876.
- Minor fixes in #1939, #1941, and #1947.

How do I upgrade to version 4.3.0?
There are no special considerations for upgrading to this version. Users need to download and update their RSKj node; no other task is required.
